As was reported inside December, Manchester United's new home jersey for any 2013-14 season will be plain red with ebony trim, and will feature a buttoned-down collar.
The design within the collar is the most unique aspect of the shirt. While it's not really a typical polo shirt collar like the new Arsenal away top for next season, the shorter collar on the United shirt gives the whole shirt design a exclusive appearance. The collar reminds us of Newcastle United's separate shirt from 1996, although it's not identical.
And with the conspiracy theorists who believe that this isn't the new United shirt because Aon is a sponsor. Chevrolet's sponsorship of the United shirt doesn't begin through to the 2014-15 season.
