Raisin Valley Golf course Review.

I had a lot of fun on my trip on the Raisin Valley Golf Club. It's a friendly, family-run course without having any apparent aspirations other than to produce fun golf at a superb price.

The course was integrated 1967, and typical associated with older courses, the holes are frequently parallel and tight. The reality is, on the seventeenth damaged spot, you could just as easily play your second shot from the 6th or sixteenth.

Much within the course is open in addition to relatively flat. Holes five through sixteen, however, take you up and down the River Raisin vly, where the golfer is usually challenged with tight, shrub lined fairways and significant elevation changes. Water comes into play on eight holes.

Raisin Vly is short, coming in just 5, 556 from the trunk of the two t shirts. From there, it plays for a 67. 5/112 (par 71). With the forward tees, it methods 4, 625 and plays to somewhat of a 67. 5/112. Given the distances plus the mostly open design, the bogey golfer can expect to score well.

Score well, that is, when you can negotiate the sometimes deceitful greens. And if you possibly can make it through the again nine without losing a ball in the trees.

Conditions on manufactured I played were primarily good. A majority in the holes were in super shape, while a couple others had dead outages. There were a two low wet areas. Green were universally good, despite the fact that.

Prices are very proficient at Raisin River. On that weekends, you can play designed for $20 walking and $36 which includes a cart. Kids under 17 play at zero cost with an adult subsequent to 4 p. m. You can receive a season walking account for $600.

If I lived slightly closer, I'd make Raisin Valley a consistent stop. It's fun, and I think is a good place to hone your game.
