The Citizens are planning wholesale changes in the summer, with the likes of Scott Sinclair and Joleon Lescott tipped for the Etihad exit.
The 19-year-old has already made one appearance for the senior team, and has been on Barca's books since the age of nine.
He has a release clause which stands at £8million, which wouldn't be difficult for City to match, however he feels he can make a name for himself at the Camp Nou.
Added to that, City's sporting director Txiki Begiristain previously worked at the Camp Nou, but Deulofeu is ready to agree a professional contract with the La Liga giants.
In an interview with Spanish radio station Radio Marca, he said: "I don't think there will be any problem sorting out a renewal here [at Barcelona] when the club wants to talk about it again."
