Edin Dzeko hopes Manchester City can achieve a to signal his Bosnia and Herzegovina team-mate Miralem Pjanic. German newspaper L'Equipe stated earlier in the day this month that City were eager to land Roma midfielder Pjanic as an alternative for Samir Nasri, and suggested he would be accessible for around a25 million. Pjanic told SportSport.ba recently that "it's great when your name is associated with large clubs in Europe", and Dzeko has proved that City are thinking about a move the 23-year-old. Asked whether City may sign Pjanic, Dzeko was quoted as showing Sport.ba: "I sincerely hope so. "I have suggested Pjanic before to Manchester City - they know exactly about him. The director, Roberto Mancini, asked me whether Pjanic was Bosnian, on one occasion. I said: 'Needless to say he's Bosnian'! I would perhaps not be amazed if Pjanic stumbled on City, and I really hope he does." Dzeko's own future is the issue of substantial conjecture, and he spoke up the possibility of a shift back to the Bundesliga early in the day in 2013, however it would appear his decision might be affected by the possibility Pjanic might occur. He added: "If 'Mire' found City then I would most certainly not wish to keep the Etihad."
