MOON TOWNSHIP, Philadelphia. (AP) a A former Robert Morris player has told school authorities former instructor Mike Rice used a homophobic slur and used a baseball at a "once or twice" all through his time at the university. Rice was fired by Rutgers a week ago after video of the coach verbally and physically destroying people became public. A former Rutgers employee alleged Rice employed in many "coaches versus players" brawls while training the Colonials from 2007-10. Robert Morris running manager Craig Coleman says an interior investigation revealed no evidence of the fights. Coleman says one player, who left this system while Rice was responsible, told authorities Rice focused a slur at him and experienced a shoving match with still another player throughout halftime of a casino game. The other person denied having poor contact with Rice.
