While reports in Spain yesterday suggested that a deposit has already been made, it's thought that United's attention is still in its first stages. If all three of those groups enter into a war for Falcao, things might get acutely interesting within the summer. These could benefit from introducing a person of his caliber and keeping him away from another two is just a significant motivation as well. Chelsea remain trying to find a reliable striker to mind their assault. Fernando Torres proceeds to fall well short of expectations, largely because of an inability to locate any degree of reliability, and Demba Ba's production has slowed following a strong begin with the club. Nevertheless, United has got the resources to compete with both groups on the open market and introducing Javier Hernandez to the combination will be an appealing X-factor. There is a solid possibility "Chicharito" would shine with a membership that can provide him with more constant playing time. Furthermore, the whole Falcao situation must start to heat up once the period concerns a close. The thought of United putting him along with Robin van Persie is probably already giving dreams to different squads across the group, but you may still find a lot of hurdles to clear before that becomes anywhere close to reality.
