Thursday, 10th April, 2013 FIFA adviser Gianfranco Cicchetti has revealed that Italian Serie A area Napoli are life-threatening serious in their search for striker Leandro Damiao, while additionally they carry an interest in Wellington Nem. Internacional hitman Damiao is attracting much interest from European clubs, with English Premier League giants Tottenham Hotspur having pushed hard to sign him in the January move screen, while Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with the Brazil star as a substitute for the confident Robert Lewandowski. Napoli but are consistent suitors of Damiao and have stepped up their interest, with the obvious purpose of taking the 23-year-old to the Neapolitan Riviera. "A delegation from Napoli was present during the match between Bolivia and Brazil", Cicchetti told Radio CRC. "They appeared at Damiao and he is undoubtedly in the image at the club. "There can also be interest in Wellington Nem, a really rapid player who's similar to Ezequiel Lavezzi." Wellington Nem currently ends up with Brazilian outfit Fluminense.
