NEWARK, N.J. (AP) a' The broadcast of a video of Rutgers basketball coach Mike Rice applying gay slurs, pushing and grabbing his players and tossing balls at them in practice over the past three seasons has the university's athletic director reconsidering his decision not to fire the coach. Scarlet Knights AD Tim Pernetti was handed a copy of the movie in late November by way of a disgruntled former employee, and he suspended Rice for three games, fined him $50,000 and made him bear anger management classes for inappropriate behavior after investigating it. Within an interview with WFAN, Pernetti said college president Robert Barchi found the record and concurred with his measures against Rice. ESPN aired the videotape on Tuesday and it's many on social media marketing criticizing Rutgers, including NBA celebrity LeBron James.
