6:00am Wednesday 15th May 2013 in Wimbledon By Lucy Parent, Writer A young footballer experiencing the very first Free Kicks For Kids training session with the Chelsea FC Foundation The Chelsea FC Foundation are giving free basketball teaching sessions with top instructors for kids in Wimbledon. The Wimbledon Goals Soccer Centre in Raynes Park is hosting the 'Free Kicks For Kids' fitness and skills program on May 11. Coaches from the Chelsea Hamilton Academical Foundation will take the hour-long sessions that are available to kids from six to 13 yrs old. The national plan seeks to obtain 16,000 children playing football this season and is run with with Chelsea FC's concept recruit, Samsung. John King, vice president of Consumer Electronics, Samsung Electronics UK & Ireland said: "Football is such a huge element of our tradition in the UK, and as sponsors of Chelsea Soccer Team, we're excited in order to offer young ones in the UK the chance to be experienced by Chelsea instructors with our 'Free Kicks for Kids' programme."
