Van Persie then nearly (doesn't) makes room for an attempt as play sweeps up and down the frequency. 26MINS: Van Persie places Begovic off his line... and... oh dear. Never mind. Vidic climbs throughout Charlie Adam and it is a Stoke free stop some 32 yards out, perfectly of centre. The big guns move forward for Stoke... Good header by Huth... Wonderful leap, he twists his head and the German minds just broad. Pregame banter The English Premier League name is tantalizingly in reach for Manchester United, the jitters may begin to emerge if the staff does not overcome relegation-haunted Stoke today.
